A weatherproof cable grommet should be evaluated in the orientation and surroundings where it will operate. A cable route can influence how moisture reaches the entry, while the selected compound must suit the environmental exposure. The label does not define a universal sealing arrangement for every cable or panel.
Check the entry and nearby surfaces for places where water or debris can collect. Confirm that the cable rests in the intended position without pulling the rubber aside. If the enclosure layout changes, review the contact and exposure again rather than assuming the original fit gives the same result.
ETOL can customize profile, hardness and material. Any required environmental protection should be verified on the complete cable-panel interface under its specified conditions. During maintenance, inspect exposed and sheltered portions of the grommet, including the retaining groove. Remove contamination with a compatible method and replace rubber that has cracked or lost its seat. Keep the approved configuration identified so future wiring changes do not leave the entry with an unreviewed gap or side load.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The label does not define a universal sealing arrangement for every cable or panel. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
