A heat resistant rubber washer places an elastomer ring between mating surfaces in an assembly. The round form surrounds a central opening while providing a compliant contact area. ETOL lists silicone and other compounds and offers custom dimensions, color and hardness for the selected application.
For a warm joint, consider the temperature at the washer itself, including heat transferred through the surrounding hardware. Evaluate the washer through the intended temperature range in its fitted condition. The compound should be chosen for the operating conditions together with the liquids or cleaning substances that may contact it.
Mechanical compression is equally important. The inner opening must clear the intended shaft or fastener, and the outer ring must have adequate support from the mating faces. Tightening until the rubber squeezes out can reduce its useful contact and alter the joint spacing. Evaluate the installed thickness rather than only the thickness of a loose washer.
Inspect the washer after the assembly has experienced its intended operating cycle. Look for displacement, permanent flattening or contact marks from an uneven face. When replacing it, preserve the specified dimensions and compound so the joint is not changed merely because another ring fits over the same fastener.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
