A silicone rubber round washer can provide a compliant ring between matching faces. For a water-sealing duty, the contact area must follow the intended joint geometry rather than merely surround the opening. The washer's bore, outer diameter and thickness all influence that relationship.
Check the supporting faces for steps or gaps that would leave part of the rubber unsupported. The selected silicone formulation should suit the actual water exposure, temperature and cleaning conditions. A water-proof description does not establish a pressure or ingress rating for every assembly using the washer.
Place the ring without stretching it around a mismatched feature and keep debris off the contact surfaces. Evaluate the completed joint under the intended conditions. During maintenance, inspect for an uneven compressed profile and damage at the inner edge. A replacement should restore the planned contact width and thickness, since a ring with a similar outside diameter can still produce a different sealing arrangement if its bore or section differs.

Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
