Product Overview

A customized rubber sleeve allows the protective interface to follow the geometry of a specific assembly. ETOL offers both prototype parts and production runs, with changes to size, material and color. This makes the sleeve a component to develop around its mating surfaces rather than a fixed universal accessory.

At the prototype stage, examine how the sleeve is installed and removed. An apparently simple bore may need to pass over a wider feature before reaching its working position. The resulting stretch during assembly can be more demanding than the conditions the sleeve sees afterward. Include both stages when deciding the internal contour and wall thickness.

The listed customization range includes hardness from 30 to 90 Shore A and standard or nonstandard structures. Compare these choices on the actual supported part, since a loose sample does not reveal the feel or deformation of a sleeve once fitted over a rigid surface.

Before moving to repeated production, establish which dimensions control retention and which provide clearance. Inspect those areas consistently when fitting later parts. Keep unused sleeves in their relaxed shape rather than stretched over a larger temporary holder, which can make the subsequent fit difficult to judge.
