Product Overview

The rubber silicone vacuum suction cup offers a removable way to attach a hook to a smooth, nonporous surface. Tiles and stainless steel are among the surfaces described for the product. Its holding action depends on maintaining the pressure difference below the cup, so surface texture and installation position strongly influence the result.

On a tiled area, position the whole cup within one smooth tile. A grout joint beneath the lip interrupts the contact boundary even if most of the cup appears securely attached. Embossed finishes and porous surfaces also require a different fastening approach rather than extra force on the hook.

The listed customization choices include shape, dimensions, compound, color and a hardness range of 20 to 80 Shore A. Evaluate the intended load on the actual mounting surface, including the direction of pull and how long the item remains hanging.

After repositioning, examine the flexible edge for accumulated residue or a permanent crease. A cup that appears attached immediately after pressing may still lose its seal over time. Keep the hook accessible for inspection, and remove a hanging object before deliberately releasing the cup from the wall.

Material options
Custom silicone compound; formulation and geometry developed together.
Hardness selection
Silicone options: 20–80 Shore A. Embossed finishes and porous surfaces also require a different fastening approach rather than extra force on the hook.
Custom geometry
A grout joint beneath the lip interrupts the contact boundary even if most of the cup appears securely attached.
Fit evaluation
Evaluate the intended load on the actual mounting surface, including the direction of pull and how long the item remains hanging.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; OEM markings outside the suction contact face.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
