A rubber bumper feet pad places a flexible contact surface between a product and the surface beneath or beside it. A softer feel can be useful where a hard contact would be undesirable, but the pad's loaded thickness is as important as its unloaded shape. Compression can reduce clearance around the supported product or change where surrounding parts touch.
Identify whether the pad acts as a resting foot or receives occasional bumper contact. The first arrangement involves sustained support, while the second depends on the approach and movement of the contacting part. Shape, thickness, and attachment should reflect that role rather than being chosen from appearance alone.
Check the pad under the actual contact conditions. Look for uneven compression, outward bulging into a restricted space, and any rigid edge that touches before the rubber does. The contacting surface should be clean enough to avoid embedding abrasive particles. Over time, inspect for a permanent flattened area or loss of secure attachment. These changes can alter the product's resting position even when much of the original pad remains visibly intact.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
