Match the attachment and installation method
A stopper plug can be molded in different rubber formulations, with NBR, neoprene, EPDM, and silicone representing distinct options for the application. The same outside shape does not make those materials equivalent under every fluid, temperature, or cleaning exposure. Material choice should follow the conditions at the actual closure.
Define the mating geometry separately: opening size, wall thickness, insertion depth, and removal access all influence the fitted profile. If a head or shoulder locates the plug, check that nearby components do not prevent it reaching its intended position. Avoid using the visible top diameter as the only selection dimension.
Evaluate the chosen configuration in the complete joint for its required sealing and retention behavior. During reuse, inspect for swelling, cuts, or a lasting change in shape, then consider whether exposure or mechanical fit is responsible. A replacement selected only by color or general rubber name may not preserve the original formulation. Conversely, changing material will not correct a burr or an incompatible retaining groove in the opening.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
