Product Overview

A rubber bellows dust cover surrounds a moving area with a folded flexible body. The folds allow the cover to change length while its ends remain located on the adjoining components. Custom geometry can match the end connections, available diameter, and movement of the protected mechanism.

Define the shortest and longest installed positions before selecting the profile. At the short position, the folds need space to gather without being crushed against surrounding hardware. At the long position, the cover should not become the component limiting the mechanism's travel. Side movement or angular change must also be considered if the two ends do not remain aligned.

The end seats should retain the cover without cutting its attachment sections. Keep the body free from nearby edges that could rub against the folds during motion. Where internal pressure changes are possible, the cover arrangement needs to account for them rather than allowing unintended inflation or collapse.

Select the exact rubber or silicone compound for the local temperature, contacting substances, and cleaning method. Inspect the folds while the mechanism is safely accessible, paying attention to debris gathered in the valleys and wear near the end connections. A damaged cover should be replaced with matching travel and end geometry so it continues to follow the intended motion.

Material options
Custom silicone or rubber formulation; select the compound alongside the mating geometry.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A; solid rubber: 30–90 Shore A. A rubber bellows dust cover surrounds a moving area with a folded flexible body.
Custom geometry
Custom geometry can match the end connections, available diameter, and movement of the protected mechanism.
Fit evaluation
Define the shortest and longest installed positions before selecting the profile.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; identification clear of folds and end connections.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
