A rubber bearing pad provides a flexible contact beneath a supported component. In an adhesive-backed arrangement, the backing locates the pad while the rubber carries the intended contact. The bearing description should not be interpreted as a structural capacity without evaluation of the actual profile, formulation, and loading.
Define the area over which the component applies force and ensure the pad is supported appropriately underneath. An edge or small projection can concentrate pressure instead of using the whole footprint. Consider lateral movement too, since it may place shear or peeling demands on the adhesive that differ from steady compression.
Assess the complete arrangement under its relevant load and movement. Check for displacement, excessive bulging, and hard contact around the pad that bypasses the flexible layer. During inspection, look at the adhesive perimeter and the compressed rubber separately. A pad can remain bonded while its resting shape changes, or keep its original shape while beginning to detach. The corrective action should address the interface or loading condition responsible.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
