An adhesive rubber feet pad needs a suitable footprint on the product base to establish reliable attachment. The 3M backing reference should be related to the actual adhesive grade and substrate; it does not mean every finish or surface condition will provide the same bond.
Check the intended position for recesses, ribs, seams, or a loose coating beneath the pad. The adhesive area should sit against sound material rather than bridge an unsupported feature. Place the pad where the base can carry its share of the load and where the contact height leaves nearby hardware clear of the supporting surface.
Prepare the bonding area and establish alignment before exposing the backing. After fitting, assess the complete product for rocking and pad movement during normal use. Sideways dragging can load an exposed edge differently from steady downward support. Inspect for lift around the perimeter and address contamination or unfavorable placement before replacement. Pressing a detached edge down over residue does not restore the original contact between adhesive and substrate.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
