An adhesive rubber foot should sit fully within its supported bonding area so its edge is less likely to catch during handling. The silicone bumper profile can provide a defined contact height, but that height and footprint need to suit the load and surface beneath the product. A projecting edge can transfer a peeling force into the bond.
Match the adhesive to the actual substrate and service conditions, including temperature and cleaning exposure. Check for texture, recesses, or curvature that reduces full contact beneath the foot. Position supports so the completed product rests evenly without unrelated hard contact.
Prepare the surface and apply the foot without contaminating its adhesive face. Follow the selected adhesive's application conditions before placing the assembly under its normal demands. During care, inspect for edge lifting or movement after repositioning the product. If the same edge repeatedly peels, review placement and handling direction rather than simply choosing a larger foot that extends even farther beyond the available bonding surface.
