An adhesive silicone rubber pad can follow a custom outline where a standard disc or rectangle leaves useful space uncovered. The shape may be designed around nearby openings, corners, or other fixed features, with the rubber face providing the intended contact layer. The adhesive footprint needs to remain practical as the outline becomes more detailed.
Thin extensions can be difficult to place accurately and may leave exposed edges vulnerable to lifting. A compact shape with supported corners is often easier to install consistently. Check that cutouts and narrow sections do not overlap a moving cover or a surface step.
Place the pad in its intended orientation before removing the backing so the alignment is clear. Apply it from a controlled starting edge without stretching the rubber to make the last feature reach. The selected adhesive must suit the substrate and service environment. Once attached, inspect the full perimeter for incomplete contact. Replace a pad with a lifted narrow section before that section folds beneath the working face.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
