A custom rubber shoulder washer combines an annular face with a projecting section that locates within an opening. The shoulder and face need separate dimensions for the receiving hardware. For shock related use, the complete assembly determines where the rubber is supported and how it can deform.
Check that the shoulder reaches its intended position without bottoming out before the face is supported. Its bore should match the passing hardware, while the surrounding rubber should not be cut by a sharp opening edge. The fastening method should establish the designed compression instead of crushing the washer to make an unsuitable stack feel tight. Select material and hardness for the actual load, motion, and environment. Assess the completed arrangement for uneven deformation or unintended metal contact. During replacement, preserve the shoulder length and face thickness together; matching only the outside diameter can change the locating relationship and available movement. Inspect the receiving parts if the old washer shows a strongly uneven contact pattern.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
