Match the attachment and installation method
A custom chair feet protector places a rubber interface at the end of a chair leg. Its attachment profile and contact face should match the leg shape and the angle at which the leg meets the floor. Silicone furniture feet can be adapted in size, color, and hardness for that particular chair design.
Measure the leg at the actual fitting area, including any taper or rounded corners. The protector should reach its intended seat without leaving a thin edge stretched around an unsuitable profile. Once all feet are fitted, check the complete chair on the intended floor so that the contact points work together and the chair does not rock because of differing installed heights.
Keep grit away from the floor contact face, and lift the chair when moving it in a way that could pull a protector partly off its leg. Inspect the attachment if a foot turns, loosens, or wears unevenly. A replacement should restore the matching profile and contact angle rather than use a larger rubber part to disguise a damaged leg end.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The attachment profile and contact face should match the leg shape and the angle at which the leg meets the floor. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
