Match the attachment and installation method
A custom rubber water stopper closes a defined opening in an assembly exposed to water. The stopper profile should match the receiving seat, while the compound must suit the actual water temperature and any other substances present. The complete interface determines the closure's useful operating conditions.
Review the part in its intended seated position. The body should engage evenly without a rolled edge or a narrow section carrying excessive stretch. The exposed head should remain accessible through the planned handling method. If the assembly experiences temperature changes, evaluate the fit under the relevant conditions rather than only during a room-temperature installation.
Custom dimensions and material choices allow the stopper to follow the application. Keep the contact area free of deposits and inspect the receiving surface for sharp damage before fitting. A general heat-resistant description does not establish a universal temperature or pressure limit. During replacement, preserve the specified profile instead of selecting a larger stopper to compensate for a deteriorated seat or an altered fit.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The stopper profile should match the receiving seat, while the compound must suit the actual water temperature and any other substances present. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
