Match the attachment and installation method
Rubber buffer vibration mounts provide custom compliant elements between adjoining parts of an assembly. Their shape should place the working rubber where the load or contact actually occurs. A retaining feature and an exposed buffer face perform different roles, even when both are formed in the same molded component.
Identify the areas held by the surrounding structure and those intended to deform. The mount should remain located without the attachment consuming all of the flexible working space. Check the completed arrangement for clearance from nearby edges and unintended hard contact. The relevant dimensions include the installed separation as well as the outside footprint.
Material and color can be customized around the product. Evaluate the mount under the intended loading and movement rather than judging it only by hand feel. During service, inspect where contact marks develop. A pattern outside the intended working area can show that the mounted component has shifted or that adjacent hardware is restricting the rubber in a different location.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. Rubber buffer vibration mounts provide custom compliant elements between adjoining parts of an assembly. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
