Rubber feet fitted to cutting boards need a layout that suits the board's underside and working surface. The support points should leave the board steady under its intended use while permitting the required cleaning access. A foot developed for an ironing-board tube should not be assumed suitable for this different mounting arrangement.
Check the available fixing area and the board thickness before choosing the foot profile. Any fastener must stay within its intended engagement and clear of the worktop. Place the set so that all feet participate in support rather than leaving the board balanced on an uneven pair of contacts.
Inspect the fitted board on its intended surface, including whether residue or moisture changes its tendency to move. Rubber alone does not guarantee friction on every countertop. The selected formulation must suit relevant contact and cleaning conditions. During care, examine the attachment recesses for retained residue and the feet for uneven wear. A replacement should restore the planned support height and footprint; stacking pads to correct rocking can conceal a problem with the base or original placement.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. Place the set so that all feet participate in support rather than leaving the board balanced on an uneven pair of contacts. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
