Suction cups with stems need the stem to fit its receiving holder while the lip aligns with the glass surface. These two connections perform different jobs. A firmly retained stem can still hold the cup at an angle that prevents full rim contact, especially if the mounting space restricts body movement.
Check the stem profile and available seating depth against the holder. The cup face should reach the intended surface without the stem bottoming out or bending the body sideways. A heavy-duty or strong-vacuum description does not establish a particular holding load for the complete arrangement.
Evaluate the actual glass surface, orientation and applied force before assigning a retention duty. Keep the rim clean and inspect the transition from stem to body during maintenance, where repeated bending may leave damage. If the cup is replaced, preserve the stem and lip geometry together rather than selecting only a similar outside diameter. A changed connection length can alter the original contact alignment even when the new cup looks comparable.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
