This silicone rubber round grommet is a 16 mm nominal version for a custom cable passage. The complete dimensions should identify the bore, panel engagement and flange footprint before the part is matched to an opening. One size label does not describe all three interfaces.
The rubber separates the cable from the edge of a circular cutout. Match the retaining groove to the finished panel thickness and check that the flange has room to sit flat. The cable opening should suit the jacket or wrapping present at the actual crossing.
Fit the grommet without stretching it to conceal a near-match in hole diameter. Guide the cable through with its termination clear of the lip, then inspect for a section pulled into the opening. During replacement, measure the panel and cable rather than copying the dimensions of a worn rubber part. Preserve the selected silicone formulation and complete geometry so the new component restores the intended protection, including space for the cable's final bend beyond the panel.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The complete dimensions should identify the bore, panel engagement and flange footprint before the part is matched to an opening. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
