The 50×100mm silicone oval grommet is listed for a large elongated panel hole. Its outside dimensions are 60 by 110 mm and its inside opening is 46 by 96 mm. The rubber protects cables along the perimeter, while the retained groove locates the part in the panel.
A larger opening often makes it possible to route several cables together, but the bundle should be supported while the grommet is installed. Allowing its weight to rest on an unfinished section can pull that section loose as the opposite end is being seated. Fit and inspect the liner before releasing the bundle into its intended supports.
The available panel thickness choices are 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3 and 4 mm. Their overall thicknesses run from 6 to 8 mm. Select the appropriate groove around the actual wall rather than compressing a thicker version into a thin panel.
Use the 46 by 96 mm internal dimensions when checking cable and connector clearance. Leave practical access for later service instead of filling every part of the opening. After routing, look along both long sides and around both ends for a lip trapped beneath the panel or a cable pressing the silicone against nearby hardware.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The rubber protects cables along the perimeter, while the retained groove locates the part in the panel. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
