The 55mm rubber grommet is identified by its outside diameter: the overall flange span. This defines its footprint, while the retaining groove and bore must be matched separately to the panel and cable.
Around a crowded panel, compare the 55 mm footprint with nearby fastener heads, ribs and adjacent openings. A flange partly resting on a raised feature may not sit flat even when the hole itself is correctly sized. Leave room for the rubber to seat on the intended surface.
ETOL offers customized hardness, color and material, including multiple rubber compound families. Choose those options after establishing the dimensions that control fit. Material selection cannot correct a flange obstructed by the surrounding hardware.
During installation, check that the outer rim is not tucked under a neighboring component. Then route the cable with enough clearance through the center. If the panel layout changes during servicing, repeat the footprint check before assuming that the previously fitted part still has adequate seating room.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. Around a crowded panel, compare the 55 mm footprint with nearby fastener heads, ribs and adjacent openings. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
