Adhesive backed rubber rings can help keep a washer in its intended location while adjoining parts are assembled. The adhesive layer and the silicone sealing section perform different roles. Holding the ring to one face does not independently establish the sealing capability of the completed joint.
Match the ring's bore, outside diameter and thickness to the receiving area. The adhesive system should suit that substrate and the actual temperature and cleaning exposure. Its application requirements also need to be followed so the part begins with the intended contact rather than trapped debris or a lifted edge.
Position the ring carefully before closing the joint and avoid stretching it to reach a mismatched outline. Evaluate the assembly for its required sealing duty after it is fastened. During maintenance, inspect the rubber and adhesive attachment separately for damage. Replace a ring that has torn or shifted with the defined configuration rather than assuming a remaining patch of adhesive can restore the original sealing geometry.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
