A silicone washer in a clamped connection may share space with a rigid shoulder that limits how far the parts can close. That shoulder can establish the final position even while additional turning force is applied to the fastener. The washer must be sized around the resulting space.
Identify the surfaces that come to a hard stop. Compare the distance left for the rubber with its intended working section, including any recess that hides part of its free thickness. A washer that seems tall enough beside the loose components may occupy the wrong gap once those components are nested together.
Custom dimensions allow this relationship to be developed for the particular connection. Use a compound suited to the water and other substances reaching the joint. Evaluate sealing with the hardware in its prescribed assembled position; extra tightening after a shoulder has seated may not create the contact the washer needs. If the connection fails to seal, examine the stop geometry and seating depth before replacing the rubber with an arbitrary thicker ring.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
