An aging-resistant rubber gasket is developed around the conditions that gradually affect a seal during service. For a rectangular part, maintaining the long sides and corner geometry matters alongside the material choice. A gasket that has hardened, swollen or taken a permanent set may no longer follow the joint as intended, even when it remains in one piece.
ETOL offers custom dimensions, hardness and color with different rubber compounds available. Select the compound for the actual surroundings, including light exposure, nearby fluids and cleaning methods. The description of aging resistance does not establish a single service interval for every installation.
When replacing an older gasket, measure the mating recess or sealing face as well as the removed rubber. The used part may have stretched or changed thickness. Lay the replacement in its intended orientation and avoid pulling the long sides taut to make the corners reach. During maintenance, compare the entire perimeter for changes in firmness or contact, since one exposed side can age differently from a sheltered side.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. An exposed side of a rectangular seal can encounter different conditions from a sheltered corner. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
