A rectangular Rubber Gasket Seals Ring follows a closed contact path around an opening. When it is used as a replacement, the surrounding recess is an important reference because the removed rubber may have changed shape through use. Measuring only the old ring can carry that distortion into the replacement.
Compare the recess dimensions, corner shapes and available depth with the intended gasket profile. Select the rubber for the joint conditions and the surfaces it will contact. The ring should settle into its location without being forced into a different outline by the fasteners or cover.
During installation, inspect each side for an even seat before the opposing part hides it. Pay attention to narrow areas near locating features where the rubber can become pinched. After opening the joint for service, remove residue from those same areas before placing a new ring. If one corner repeatedly shows damage, examine the corresponding mating feature rather than assuming the entire gasket simply needs a different hardness.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
