A custom Fluorosilicone Gasket combines a selected rubber material with a rectangular sealing outline. The compound should remain explicit throughout design and replacement, because a standard silicone or another similar-looking rubber is not automatically equivalent for the intended exposure. The dimensions must also suit the mating surfaces independently of the material choice.
Define the actual fluids, temperature and cleaning conditions at the joint. Then match the gasket thickness, internal opening and corner shape to the support available when the assembly closes. Custom size and color can follow that geometry. Fit the gasket without pulling the long sides to reach the corners or fastener locations. Evaluate the seal on the complete joint using the intended compound. During servicing, inspect for a shifted corner, a cut near an opening or a change in the rubber after exposure. Keep replacements tied to the evaluated material and profile, and review the selection if the process medium changes even when the rectangular dimensions stay the same.
