Match the attachment and installation method
Black BIIR rubber solid stoppers close defined automotive openings with a continuous molded body. The custom profile should match the receiving hole, available insertion depth, and surrounding surface. The visible head should establish a clear fitted position without concealing a body that has folded or stopped early.
Identify the exact vehicle location before selecting the formulation. Heat, fluid exposure, and service access can differ considerably between openings on the same vehicle. A solid plug intended to remain during operation also needs a different use assessment from a temporary assembly closure. Keep the body intact for its blanking role and use a suitable passage component if wiring is later added. Before fitting, clean the opening and remove sharp edges. Inspect the less visible contact surfaces after removal, especially on dark rubber where fine damage may be harder to notice. Replacement should preserve the full BIIR formulation and profile for that location rather than match only the black exterior.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The custom profile should match the receiving hole, available insertion depth, and surrounding surface. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
