A rubber bumper with a metal washer combines a molded contact body with a metal element associated with its fixing. The custom shape can serve a support or bumper role, depending on the mounting arrangement and contact direction. The washer and rubber need to be considered together within that design.
For a foot, check the supported load path and installed height. For a bumper, identify where the moving or adjoining part contacts the rubber and how much clearance remains at the final position. The fastening should retain the component without exposing metal at the intended rubber-contact surface.
Choose the screw or other fixing to suit the washer and receiving feature, including its available depth. Fit the part onto a clean mounting area and avoid tightening so far that the rubber becomes excessively distorted. Inspect the assembled contact rather than assuming the washer establishes a load or impact rating. During service, look for loosening, tears, or wear that exposes the insert. Replace damaged parts with the matching geometry so the original support height or bumper spacing is preserved.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
