Furniture cable grommets provide a cushioned entry for wiring routed through a panel. The location should suit nearby drawers, doors and other moving parts so the cable remains within its intended passage throughout ordinary use.
ETOL can vary the dimensions, material, hardness and color. Choose the mounting section for the finished furniture panel and the bore for the actual cable covering. Check the opening's position against the full travel of adjacent storage parts, including the space occupied by handles or concealed hardware behind the visible face.
Route and secure the cable before evaluating that movement. A lead resting loosely behind a drawer can be caught even though the entry itself looks tidy. Keep the grommet from being used as the cable's only restraint and inspect its seat after the route is fixed. When furniture is moved or reconfigured, check that the lead has not been pulled from the rubber passage. Remove debris from the entry during maintenance, taking care not to scratch a finished panel while releasing the retaining edge.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The location should suit nearby drawers, doors and other moving parts so the cable remains within its intended passage throughout ordinary use. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
