Rubber grommets for cables place a protective surface at the point where a cable passes through a panel. ETOL offers nonstandard designs as well as a standard range, with customizable material, hardness and color. This allows the part to be matched to the opening and the actual routing requirement.
For a replacement, inspect the worn component before discarding it. Uneven wear can show where the cable has been bearing against the passage, but the damaged opening should not be copied as the target shape. Measure the panel and cable independently, then address any route that concentrates force on one side.
Look for burrs or deformation in the cutout that may have caused the original damage. Fitting new rubber into the same rough boundary can repeat the problem. Also check whether nearby cable supports have loosened and transferred more movement to the panel crossing.
Seat the replacement fully before reconnecting the cable. Once the run is restored, confirm that the cable clears the protected opening without dragging the flange inward. Keep the passage visible enough for later checks where the equipment layout allows.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. Also check whether nearby cable supports have loosened and transferred more movement to the panel crossing. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
