Custom rubber sleeve grommets can extend a protected cable passage through an opening with more than one material layer. The sleeve length should cover the relevant edges while its mounting profile engages the section intended to retain it.
Measure the completed panel stack rather than adding nominal material thicknesses without checking the assembly. Gaps, trim and surface finishes can alter the actual passage. ETOL can change geometry, dimensions, material, hardness and color to suit that arrangement.
Keep the layers aligned before fitting so an offset edge does not press into the sleeve wall. Seat the retained section, then inspect the sleeve exit before feeding the lead. If another panel layer is attached afterward, check that it has not trapped or shortened the flexible passage. Route the cable without using the sleeve to pull the layers together. During disassembly, support the wiring and release the surrounding parts carefully so the rubber is not torn between separating panels. Inspect the hidden body as well as the outer flange before reuse.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The sleeve length should cover the relevant edges while its mounting profile engages the section intended to retain it. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
