A cutting board rubber foot needs a position and attachment suited to the board's underside. The support points should keep the board from rocking while leaving practical access for the intended cleaning routine. A similar-looking furniture foot may use a different fixing or create a recess that does not suit this application.
Review the board thickness, available fastening area, and spacing of the full set. The foot should be supported without placing a hard fixing where it can reach the work surface. Any material-contact requirements depend on the selected formulation and the complete use, including cleaning exposure.
Check the fitted board on its intended surface for even support and unintended movement. Rubber contact does not guarantee the same friction on every countertop or under every contamination condition. During care, inspect around the attachment for retained residue and beneath the feet for grit. Replace a loose or worn part with a compatible profile and height so that correcting one support does not make the board unstable at the remaining positions.
