Match the attachment and installation method
A rubber vibration mount can be custom made for a support arrangement that requires a defined flexible connection. When replacing an existing part, the relevant comparison includes its attachment geometry and loaded position, not just the free height of the removed rubber. An old mount may already have a changed shape.
Identify the surfaces that locate the mount and the direction in which it normally carries force. The replacement should fit those seats without pulling the supported component away from its intended alignment. Check nearby rigid clearances after the normal load is restored.
The compound must suit the actual environment, and the body profile needs evaluation with the assembly's operating motion. A visually similar piece can change the support relationship if its working deformation differs. During installation, keep the mating hardware aligned rather than using tightening to correct a mismatch. Inspect the completed arrangement for unexpected contact or uneven loading, and compare the surrounding brackets if the original mount showed damage concentrated at one side.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. A rubber vibration mount can be custom made for a support arrangement that requires a defined flexible connection. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
