Product Overview

Bolt-on rubber bumpers made from chloroprene combine custom contact elements with defined mechanical attachments. The bolt locates the part, while the exposed rubber face meets the approaching component. Their relative positions should keep the contact within the intended working area rather than bending the bumper away from its fixing point.

Match the fastening arrangement to the receiving structure and leave space for the required installation access. The bolt must engage correctly without forcing the rubber body into a twisted position. After securing the part, check its projection and the approach of the adjoining surface. A bumper mounted at an angle can receive concentrated contact along one edge.

Material and dimensions should suit the local environment and motion. The fastener alone does not define how much contact force the rubber can accommodate. During service, inspect the metal attachment and the surrounding rubber together. If the bumper begins turning or leaning, investigate the fixing and contact alignment before continuing to use it in that condition.

Material options
Custom rubber compound and color, selected for the contact conditions and required geometry.
Hardness range
30–90 Shore A for rubber. Assess the grade against this fit requirement: Their relative positions should keep the contact within the intended working area rather than bending the bumper away from its fixing point.
Custom profile & fit
Match the fastening arrangement to the receiving structure and leave space for the required installation access.
Assembly considerations
The bolt must engage correctly without forcing the rubber body into a twisted position.
Design check
After securing the part, check its projection and the approach of the adjoining surface.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
