Match the attachment and installation method
Custom rubber bumper feet with screw attachment provide a rubber contact element secured to an assembly by hardware. Their working role may be a supporting foot or a bumper at a defined contact point. The attachment dimensions and rubber profile should be selected for that role, rather than assuming that one screw mounted shape suits both arrangements.
The screw must engage the receiving part correctly while leaving the rubber at its intended working height. A fastener that bottoms out early can give the impression of a tight assembly without seating the foot properly. Conversely, excessive tightening can distort the rubber if the mounting design allows the load to pass through it. Assess the complete attachment, including any supporting hardware used with the part.
For vibration related use, consider the actual supported mass, operating motion, and number of contact points. Rubber size and hardness affect the installed behavior, but they do not establish a universal isolation rating. Keep the foot clear of unintended rigid contact with surrounding structure, and inspect the seating and hardware after the equipment has been placed in its normal operating position.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. For vibration related use, consider the actual supported mass, operating motion, and number of contact points. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
