Silicone plugs can be custom molded in colors that distinguish closure versions or coordinate with a product. The seating body should match the receiving opening, while the exact compound is selected for the application. For an NBR oil-contact version, the material requirement needs to remain explicit rather than being inferred from color.
Check the actual oil or fluid, temperature, and exposure duration before choosing the compound. Silicone and NBR are different options, and similar-looking plugs may not be interchangeable in service. The bore, taper, and insertion depth also need to match the receiving feature.
Fit the closure cleanly within its intended seating range and leave access for removal. Inspect the rubber after use for swelling, cuts, or permanent deformation. If color identifies a version, keep that association with the correct material and dimensions during replacement. Do not compensate for a changed fit by pushing the stopper farther into the opening. The complete closure should be evaluated for its actual sealing and retention requirements under the intended operating conditions.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The bore, taper, and insertion depth also need to match the receiving feature. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Compare inside diameter A with the outside of the part being covered. Check inside depth C and overall dimensions B and D for available clearance. These RSE references show a round cap with one closed end.
43 closed-end cap sizes. A is the inside diameter and C is the usable internal depth; B and D describe the outside envelope.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
