Cone rubber wire grommets provide a shaped transition between a panel opening and the wire route beyond it. The angled or tapered profile should point in the intended direction before the retaining region is fully seated. Twisting the finished entry afterward can leave the rubber stressed around the panel.
Compare the wide mounting region with the cutout and wall thickness, then match the narrower passage to the cable. Check the direction the wire will take once nearby supports are attached. Custom dimensions, structure, compound, hardness and color allow the transition to be developed for that route. During installation, align the cone and work the retained edge into place without using the wire as a handle. Look at the final exit for a fold that narrows the passage or forces a sharp bend. If the cable route must change during service, release and refit the entry as needed rather than leaving the cone twisted toward the new direction. Inspect the panel lip again after the change.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The angled or tapered profile should point in the intended direction before the retaining region is fully seated. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
