A stepped cone cable rubber sealed grommet provides a custom transition with more than one diameter along its profile. The steps should have defined roles in the selected design, such as mating clearance or a change in the covered region. Their appearance alone does not mean they are intended as trimming guides for arbitrary cable sizes.
Establish the panel seat, cable passage and usable length before fitting. Check which region is retained and which must remain flexible after installation. A cable support close to one step can change the bending behavior if it forces the transition against a rigid edge. Custom dimensions, material and color allow the profile to suit the actual arrangement.
Evaluate the entry with the cable in its final route and assess any required sealing in that installed condition. Keep the molded steps intact unless the particular design intentionally specifies a different finishing operation. During servicing, inspect transitions between diameters for localized flexing or rubbing. If the cable configuration changes, revise the fit deliberately rather than cutting away a step to gain room. Recheck the panel lip after any rerouting so the retained area remains seated as intended.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. A cable support close to one step can change the bending behavior if it forces the transition against a rigid edge. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
