A silicone cone grommet can be custom developed for a wire harness route through a panel. The cone shaped region should suit the harness direction and available space, while the retaining portion matches the cutout and panel thickness. The taper and panel seat need to work together without pulling one another out of position.
Check the harness at its normal bend after installation. A tapered exit should not be forced into a sharp turn that folds the rubber or loads the cutout edge. Consider the connector and routing sequence before setting the passage dimensions so assembly does not require excessive stretching.
Material, hardness and color can follow the application. Remove sharp burrs or splinters from the opening before fitting and inspect the retaining perimeter afterward. During service, examine the transition from the cone to the panel seat for cuts or persistent distortion. If the harness continually pulls that region sideways, review its separate supports and route before replacing the grommet. The protective profile should remain naturally located around the cable and opening.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The cone shaped region should suit the harness direction and available space, while the retaining portion matches the cutout and panel thickness. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
