A rubber cone cable sealed grommet uses a tapered body to form a protective cable transition. Its geometry can be molded around a particular opening and route, with material, size and color customized for the assembly. The narrow and broad regions each need the correct mating clearance.
Set the cone's direction according to the installed cable path. Bending it sharply to reach an offset connection can change contact at the panel and at the cable. Leave space for the taper to follow its designed shape, including any movement during normal use.
For sealing, assess the entry after the cable supports and connections are secured. The inner profile should suit the actual jacket rather than just an approximate bundle diameter. Keep the contact surfaces clean during fitting and inspect the narrow end for a rolled edge after threading. If the cable is removed during service, release its other restraints before drawing it through the cone. Refit in the original orientation and review any persistent deformation before relying on the entry to maintain its intended boundary.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The inner profile should suit the actual jacket rather than just an approximate bundle diameter. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
