Custom silicone rubber seal grommets can be developed for a vehicle cable opening and its surrounding panel. The black molded component needs a retaining profile suited to the opening and a passage matched to the cable at that position. Final routing should preserve the alignment established during fitting.
Check the cable's approach from both sides, including any bend close to the panel. A route that pulls sideways can displace the rubber even after it initially seats correctly. The supporting clips and neighboring components should be considered with the grommet geometry.
Prepare the opening and fit the retaining section around the full perimeter. Secure the cable through the intended vehicle arrangement, then inspect the seat again. The complete fitted assembly determines the required sealing behavior under its operating conditions. During maintenance, recheck the entry after nearby repairs or changes to the bundle. Replace a worn component with the matching passage, groove, and material so that the original cable alignment and panel interface are restored.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The black molded component needs a retaining profile suited to the opening and a passage matched to the cable at that position. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
