Mini silicone stoppers form custom rubber plugs for small openings. The reduced size makes the accessible head or edge an important part of the design, because the closure still needs to be installed and removed without damage. Its seating dimensions should follow the actual bore rather than the apparent size from above.
Check the opening depth and nearby clearance before choosing the profile. A stopper can become difficult to handle if it is pushed below the surrounding surface or crowded by another component. The selected silicone, butyl, or other specified compound should suit the actual medium and operating conditions; material names are not interchangeable specifications.
Install the stopper into a clean opening using handling appropriate to its small size. Avoid sharp tools that can nick the body or tear the accessible edge. Inspect the fit under good lighting and keep the closure within its intended seating depth. Before reuse, remove any collected particles and examine the contact surface, replacing the part if deformation or damage prevents it from fitting as designed.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. Mini silicone stoppers close small openings with a custom molded rubber body. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
