Product Overview

A flexible rubber tube used as a silicone sleeve should fit around its mating component without losing the passage or clearance it needs to preserve. Wall thickness, inner size, and overall length work together, particularly where the tube is bent or compressed by surrounding hardware. A sleeve that slides on easily may still deform differently in the final assembly.

Define the covered region and the shape of the component beneath it. If the tube carries a medium rather than acting only as a covering, select and assess the complete tubing arrangement for that service. The compound should suit the actual substances and temperature involved.

Fit the sleeve without twisting or rolling its end. Check bends for local flattening and keep sharp edges away from the rubber wall. After adjoining clamps or supports are secured, inspect the intended passage again. During maintenance, look for wear at the sleeve ends or a section that has migrated from its original position, then address the retaining or routing condition before simply pushing it back into place.

Material options
Custom silicone compound; formulation and geometry developed together.
Hardness selection
Silicone options: 20–80 Shore A. A flexible rubber tube used as a silicone sleeve should fit around its mating component without losing the passage or clearance it needs to preserve.
Custom geometry
Wall thickness, inner size, and overall length work together, particularly where the tube is bent or compressed by surrounding hardware.
Fit evaluation
Check bends for local flattening and keep sharp edges away from the rubber wall.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; identification clear of folds and end connections.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
