A rubber sleeve for a pipe can provide a compliant covering where the pipe approaches a support or neighboring component. The sleeve should cover the actual contact region while leaving appropriate clearance at each end. Its bore needs to follow the pipe's finished outside surface, including any coating.
Custom silicone and other material options, dimensions, hardness and color can be developed for the installation. Define how the sleeve is retained and whether a clamp or housing will compress it. The installed passage may differ from the loose bore once surrounding hardware is secured.
Check the final sleeve position after the pipe route and supports are complete. Look for an end that has rolled inward or a section pulled thin during fitting. Select the compound for the temperature and exposure involved. During maintenance, inspect both the rubber and the pipe immediately beyond its coverage. Repeated marks at one end may indicate an unsuitable support position or sleeve migration that should be corrected before fitting another part of the same length.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The sleeve should cover the actual contact region while leaving appropriate clearance at each end. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
