Match the attachment and installation method
A custom rubber bumper for chair leg use should follow the leg end and the way it meets the supporting surface. The attachment, base shape and height need to suit that angle. A component that fits the leg may still make uneven floor contact if its working face was designed for a different orientation.
Check the chair with all bumpers or feet installed. Each should remain located while the chair is used normally, without a folded edge or a loose part rotating around the leg. Compare the full support arrangement after replacement so one changed profile does not introduce rocking.
Select the finished rubber for the floor surface and cleaning conditions. Inspect for grit and wear beneath the contact face, and check inside for a sharp leg edge that damages the rubber. Replace a split or displaced component with the matching geometry. A thicker bumper should not be used simply to hide an uneven leg or an incorrectly fitted support at another position.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. A component that fits the leg may still make uneven floor contact if its working face was designed for a different orientation. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
