Match the attachment and installation method
Rubber feet with M6 screw attachments provide a threaded mounting point above a flexible support body. The screw connects the foot to a matching base, while the rubber forms the contact with the supporting surface. The thread interface and rubber profile must both suit the equipment.
Confirm thread pitch, usable length and the available engagement in the mating component. A screw that reaches the end of a blind hole too early can leave the foot incorrectly seated. Also check the clearance around the rubber body so tightening does not pull it against a nearby edge.
The part can be customized in dimensions and material. Choose the contact profile for the normal load and surface, and evaluate the attachment with the equipment assembled. The M6 designation alone does not establish a load capacity or leveling range.
Secure the fitting using the requirements for the selected hardware and inspect for twisting around the screw base. After normal equipment handling, check that the foot has not rotated loose. Remove abrasive particles from the underside before placing the equipment on a finished bench or floor.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The screw connects the foot to a matching base, while the rubber forms the contact with the supporting surface. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a connection type, then compare body dimensions and metric threads. D, H and L are in millimeters; H excludes projecting studs. The M designation identifies the metric thread.
157 sizes with a male stud at each end. Compare body diameter D, body height H, thread size and projecting stud length L.
