Product Overview

Suction cups attached with screws need mounting positions that let each cup meet the surface properly. On a rigid support using more than one cup, a small height or alignment difference can leave one rim only partly seated. The attachment layout should therefore be checked against the real surface before the support is put under its intended load.

Match the screw interfaces and cup profiles to the assembly. Consider the distance between cups and the way the attached component transfers force as it moves. A flat support applied to a curved surface may require a different arrangement to establish continuous contact at every rim.

Tighten the hardware without leaving the rubber bodies twisted. Clean the cup lips and inspect their seating with the support in its working position. Evaluate holding behavior under the actual orientation and motion rather than adding individual nominal capacities. During removal, release each cup appropriately instead of levering the whole support away from one side, which can place unnecessary stress on the remaining attachments.

Material options
Custom silicone compound; formulation and geometry developed together.
Hardness selection
Silicone options: 20–80 Shore A. During removal, release each cup appropriately instead of levering the whole support away from one side, which can place unnecessary stress on the remaining attachments.
Custom geometry
A flat support applied to a curved surface may require a different arrangement to establish continuous contact at every rim.
Fit evaluation
Evaluate holding behavior under the actual orientation and motion rather than adding individual nominal capacities.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; OEM markings outside the suction contact face.

Review the intended assembly

Working conditions

Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.

Material and structure

Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.

Installation

Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
