An EPDM molded rubber washer needs a supported face contact matched to its joint. A silicone sealing O-ring uses a different section and may be selected for different service conditions, so those parts should remain identified separately. Similar outside dimensions are not a sufficient basis for interchanging the two formats.
Check the washer thickness, central opening, and supported outer area. Select the compound for the actual medium, temperature, and cleaning exposure. For an O-ring position, define the groove and section dimensions instead of relying on the washer's face measurements.
Install the selected part without folds or twist and keep the contact path clean. Close the joint evenly and inspect for rubber displaced into an unsupported gap. During maintenance, compare the removed seal's damage with the mating hardware before choosing a replacement. Correct a surface or alignment issue where needed rather than switching materials or formats to hide a mechanical problem in the original joint.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. For an O-ring position, define the groove and section dimensions instead of relying on the washer's face measurements. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
