A large rubber gasket with a square or rectangular outline can follow the perimeter of a matching cover or joint. Its sealing behavior depends on the mating faces and how compression is applied around that perimeter. Long straight sections and corners can be loaded unevenly if the cover or fastening pattern does not support them appropriately.
Define the inner opening, outer dimensions, corner shape and thickness together. A gasket that matches the overall width may still overlap an opening or miss a corner recess. Bolt holes and locating features, where included in the design, also need to register without stretching the rubber into position.
Lay the gasket on clean mating surfaces and check its entire outline before closing the joint. Tighten according to the assembly's intended procedure so compression remains distributed rather than concentrated near one fastener. Evaluate the completed joint for its actual sealing duty; size and rubber material alone do not establish a pressure rating. During removal, support long sections to avoid tearing a gasket that has adhered locally to the face.

Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
