A waterproof rubber washer needs a continuous contact band between its mating faces under the actual water exposure. A thin section should be supported across that band so it does not curl into an opening as the joint closes. The inner and outer dimensions matter together with thickness and the selected compound.
Check the faces for grooves, shoulders, or uneven features that may concentrate compression. The rubber should suit the actual water conditions, temperature, and cleaning substances. A thin gasket version with a different outline requires its own alignment and support rather than being treated as a simple diameter substitution.
Position the part carefully on clean surfaces and close the joint evenly. Inspect for a folded inner edge where accessible, then assess the completed connection under its intended conditions. During service, compare any leakage location with the old washer's contact pattern. Correct the mating surface or locating issue where relevant instead of assuming a softer replacement will seal a gap that the original geometry did not support.

Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
